It would be easy - and possibly tempting - for Jelly Roll to coast on the songs found on his smash album "Whitsitt Chapel." But the singer has more to say. At a performance this week at the Grand Ole Opry, Jelly delighted fans with a song he'd never played publicly before. Tuesday night at the Ryman, JR cleared playing the untested song for the crowd, asking "Is that okay with y’all? We might not ever release this song. We’re just gonna play it for y’all and see if it works." Judging by the enthusiastic response from the audience, "Liar" may be on Jelly's next album - if not released sooner.
