Shelton plays to sold-out crowd at Chicago’s historic ballpark.
Blake Shelton had to skip the wedding of his “Voice” co-judge Adam Levine this weekend but he had a really good excuse. He was busy performing in front of a sold-out crowd of over 40,000 fans at Chicago’s Wrigley Field Saturday. And get this -- he's only the fourth country artist ever to play the historic ballpark.
Blake said, "This proves once again that country music has the best and most-dedicated fans around. I love each and every person for joining me at Wrigley Field last night and just hope everybody had as much fun as I did. I'm really proud to represent country music everywhere, but especially excited to have shared this occasion with all the fans in Chicago at such a historic landmark."
Mr. Miranda Lambert is currently on his “Ten Times Crazier Tour 2014,” which runs through October 5th and includes an August 1st date at New York’s Madison Square Garden and October 4th stop at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
