Underwood ready for her next evolution
Carrie Underwood is headed back to the studio and she's promising her fans that they'll hear a "new version" of her on the next album. "It's just a progression, a different sound without losing myself in it," she explains. "I'm not taking some crazy musical departure from what I've done, but it definitely feels different."
Does that mean it'll be like Carrie's collaboration with pal Miranda Lambert, on their duet, "Somethin' Bad?" Who knows, but despite the success of the pairing, Carrie does not predict a re-run her own album. "I guarantee it won't be the last time we sing together," offers Carrie. "But it just hasn't happened for this next album."
Still, she likely has some company in the studio/ Underwood's husband (and Nashville Predator) Mike Fisher may be hangin with his lady as he's rehabbing for four or five months due to a ruptured Achilles.
