~~ The next married country couple will be... Jana and Brantley!
Jana Kramer and Brantley Gilbert are engaged!
The two have been dating about a year, and say: ‘We could not be happier'.
The "One Tree Hill" actress and singer accepted Brantley's proposal of marriage in Nashville on Sunday, his 28th birthday.
According to People magazine, Brantley rented out Nashville's Ryman Auditorium Sunday for the entire day and popped the question there.
~~Taylor Swift has donated books to a literacy program at the hospital in which she was born-- Wyomissing, which is located in Berks County in eastern Pennsylvania, not far from Philadelphia.
Once again, Taylor is teaming with Scholastic, Inc. to donate 2,000 books to the Reading Hospital Child Health Center's early literacy program.
The donation was part of the Reach Out and Read program, which promotes early literacy in childhood by bringing books, as well as information about the importance of reading aloud, into the pediatric exam room.
Last year, Swift donated 14,000 books to the Nashville Public Library, which were placed in circulation and gifted to low-income families.
~~Little Big Town and Willie Nelson are among the dozens of musicians who will perform at the New Orleans Jazz Fest this year. The seven-day festival begins April 26. Willie Nelson is scheduled to appear on May 3, while Little Big Town is booked for May 4.
The lineup also features the Little Willies, the Mavericks and Del McCoury Band with Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Headliners include Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, Dave Matthews Band and Maroon 5.
~~Randy Houser's current single, "How Country Feels," claims the No. 1 spot on the Mediabase/USA Today and BDS/Billboard country singles charts-- the same week his third studio album hits shelves.
~~Danny Gokey and his wife, Leyicet, are the proud parents of their first child, son Daniel Emanuel Gokey, born Sunday (Jan. 20).
Danny and Leyicet were married Jan. 29 of last year.
~~ Randy Owen of Alabama would like you to know... his son is healthy, and can get a boner.
He made the announcement over the weekend, at an event for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
