Hayes raises awareness about childhood hunger and scores a world record at the same time
Hunter Hayes holds a Guinness today...and we're not talking about a pint of beer. He holds the Guinness World Record for playing the most shows in a 24 hour period of time. The anything but 'Invisible" singer was seemingly everywhere to promote his Sophomore effort "Storyline" while also teaming up with ConAgra Foods to help end child hunger.
The singer broke the old record held by Flaming Lips (they did 8) when he played 10 shows in 10 different cities in 24 hours starting Friday morning.
As we told you before, he started in New York on "Good Morning America," and burned through the New England before finally wrapping up in Philly for a 5am ET show Saturday. "I cannot believe how much fun this whole day has been," said Hayes. "And that it's only been a day! That's because you're a youngin, Hunter! Congrats though - we're proud of you!
