The Band Perry - and the truth of "Chainsaw"
When you first hear The Band Perry’s latest single, “Chainsaw,” it might sound like a sweet love song about a couple going out to carve their initials as a symbol of love into a tree. But in the end, that’s not exactly true.
And sure, Neil Perry says it sounds “romantic,” but Kimberly Perry admits that she was drawn to record it because it is a bit deceptive. And while “Chainsaw” is sung from a woman’s perspective, Kimberly is sure there are plenty of men who can relate to the song as well. We are, too.
