An emergency landing for Miranda made light for the CMT Awards
Sure, Miranda Lambert looked amazing on the CMT Music Awards last night – but it probably wasn’t too easy. Why? Miranda and her traveling group were forced to make an emergency landing in West Virginia on Tuesday night.
In true Miranda, style, she even managed to keep her sense of humor about it. She posted a picture of herself with her friends all decked out in silver fire suits on Instagram and included the light-hearted caption, "Don't worry, we found platinum fire suits."
Apparently, the plane lost pressure after leaving Smyrna Airport near Nashville forcing the pilot to land in Clarksburg, West Virginia where the plane was grounded for two hours until they fixed the problem.
