CBS’ new revival “CSI: Vegas” team is bringing back to where it all began. The trailer has dropped for the upcoming series, which sees the return of original star William Petersen and Jorja Fox as Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle.
The trailer is soundtracked by a familiar tune. Singer Joy Oladokun covers “Who Are You” by The Who, which served as the theme of “CSI” for its original run. Oladokun tells “Entertainment Tonight” that CBS reached out to her to record the cover, which should hit home for longtime “CSI” fans.
In the trailer for “CSI: Vegas,” an “existential threat that could bring down the Crime Lab” brings together old friends and a new team of forensic investigators to protect Sin City. “CSI: Vegas” premieres October 6th on CBS.
