Burrito lovers, your biggest problem has been solved. A group of engineering students at Johns Hopkins University have created an edible tape they call "Tastee Tape," which can be used to keep the burrito from falling apart and making a huge mess. The students say they were inspired by their own experiences with eating burritos and wraps. They used their knowledge of chemistry and biomolecular science to figure out how to make an adhesive tape that can be eaten. The students are applying for a patent, so they're not ready to divulge any information about what the tape is made from, but they insist every ingredient is safe to consume. (Food & Wine)
