More ABQ-Area Speed Cameras Are Live Today!

Bernalillo county installed 6 speed cameras on roads with high crash rates

The 30-day warning period has ended and as of today, Wednesday, Sept. 25, the cameras will issue tickets 24/7.

The county plans to add six more cameras on larger roads like Alameda and Coors after the New Mexico Department of Transportation approves it.

If you get caught speeding by these new cameras, they will get a notice in the mail. The person can either pay the $100 fine or pay $25 and do four hours of community service.

A few Locations:

  • Paradise between Unser and Golf Course
  • Golf Course between Paradise and Irving
  • A couple of locations on Isleta!
