Hybrid and remote working situations have made an impact on our lives in different ways, many of them positive. A lot of employees are feeling less stress and burnout, giving them a healthier work-life balance, but new research highlights a surprising side effect of working from home: better sex lives.
The Body+Soul 2024 Sex Census has just come out, revealing what’s going on behind bedroom doors. The poll of 2-thousand adults finds:
- The biggest barrier to sex people are dealing with is stress and burnout, as 48% are struggling with this.
- Having less energy and getting older are also keeping people from getting busy as often as they want.
- But one thing is actually giving their sex lives a boost - working from home.
- Flexible working arrangements have led to more sex for nearly half of respondents under age 30.
- Overall, 62% of men and 61% of women say they’re satisfied with their sex life.
- The most popular locations for sex include in bed (93%), in the shower or bath (13%), in the car (9%) and in the kitchen (7%).
