Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Revealed Baby News At Eugnie's Wedding

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first child together! Royal baby news is always super exciting - see every time Kate Middleton and Prince William revealed they were expanding their family. While the world is so, so happy for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, it turns out they committed a major party foul by announcing the news to the royal family at Princess Eugenie's wedding on Friday (Oct. 12). Not cool, guys!

It doesn't seem like Princess Eugenie's family is taking this too well, either. According to Russel Myers, the Chief Investigative Reporter and Royal Correspondent for Daily Mirror, Prince Andrew gave this passive aggressive quote about his daughter's wedding being bigger than Harry and Meghan's: "There are a few more than Harry had but that’s just the nature of Eugenie and Jack, they’ve got so many friends they need a church of that size to fit them all in."

Eugenie's mom, Sarah Ferguson, also did something pretty shady. Literally one minute after Kensington Palace shared the baby news on Twitter, the Duchess of York tweeted something about her daughter's wedding.

She then proceeded to share a bunch of other photos from Eugenie's wedding.

A source close to Princess Eugenie and her family revealed that the York family believed Eugenie deserved a big, special day in the spotlight. “It’s my understanding that Eugenie and Jack decided some time ago that they wanted to get married, and there was some talk about a wedding in 2017, but they had to wait for Harry to go first,” the source revealed. “The feeling among the Yorks is that she deserves her moment in the spotlight and a big royal wedding with all the frills.”

It makes sense that they'd be a little peeved that the new royal baby news is sure to make talk of Princess Eugenie's lavish wedding disappear from the news cycle much more quickly, but after postponing her engagement and wedding for Prince Harry and Meghan, they returned the favor by announcing their baby news at the wedding! That's pretty awk, TBH.

Hopefully, there's no bad blood between these royal cousins. With weddings and new babies, it's an exciting time for the Royals. Congratulations to all!
