Miranda Lambert's Husband, Brendan, Stars In Her New 'Settling Down' Video

Miranda Lambert has released the music video for her new single, "Settling Down" and it features her husband, Brendan McLoughlin.

The clip, directed by Trey Fanjoy, features the adorable couple at their farm outside of Nashville, Tennessee. The video begins with Lambert riding a horse home to her husband who watches from a distance while sipping whiskey. The country star then drinks wine by the lake and writes in her journal while watching her husband fish.

In one scene, Lambert and her husband cuddle up on a hammock before walking hand in hand on the farm. Towards the end of the video, the couple messes around in the kitchen while a shirtless McLoughlin cooks dinner.

"I’m a wild child and a homing pigeon / Caravan and an empty kitchen / Bare feet on the tile with my head up in the clouds," Lambert sings in the chorus of the track. "One heart goin’ both directions / One love and a couple of questions / Am I settlin’ up or settlin’ down?”

The video concludes with McLoughlin wearing a suit and sipping whiskey, as he welcomes Lambert and her horse from the first shot home.

"The 'Settling Down' video is very personal to me because it was filmed at my farm and my husband got to be in the video with me," Lambert said in a press release. "My mom always called me a wild child and a homing pigeon. I always have an itch to find a new adventure, but I'm also always ready to walk through my front door. I feel like a lot of people feel that way, and 'Settling Down' tells the story of being caught between those two feelings."

"Settling Down" is featured on Lambert's most recent album, Wildcard, and follows her previous chart-topping single, "Bluebird."
