A little fresh snow to report on Tuesday morning. Looks like the rest of the week will be nice and warm and maybe another series of storms starting late this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed. There is a new format for this report due some system changes. Working on how to make it better, so bear with me!

Here are some highlights for this weekend: Sandia Peak open Friday through Sunday... Santa Fe has opened the terrain park... Taos has the Kachina Peak Lift running as weather and snow conditions allow... Pajarito re-opens Wednesday for the week with weekday ticket deals... Sipapu has weekday ticket deals… Wolf Creek has another Local Appreciation Day on Sunday.

Sandia Peak

You can also buy the Six Pack of Fun for $389, which is 6 fully transferable adult tickets. This pack saves you $11 on each of the 6 adult tickets used.

Now open Wednesday through Sunday. The Townsite Lift and the terrain under it is now open on Saturdays and Sundays. But, the Mother Lift (Chair 2) is closed for repairs. Save money on weekdays... Car Load Wednesdays (where up to five guests in one car ski for just $99 total!) and Local Appreciation Thursdays when lift tickets are $39 for adults and teens. This weekend is the K2 Women's Weekend February 10-12. Online registration is open for our the fundraiser weekend with K2 demos, ski clinics, friendly competitions, silent auction, live music and local craft beer to benefit the Anita Salas Memorial Fund. Two terrain parks are open with a total of 16 features.

Deals: There are several ways to save money: There are two for one Tuesdays, Carload Wednesdays (where up to 5 ski or ride for $50 total) and Local Appreciation Thursdays (where adult and teen tickets are $25, kids tickets are $15) nearly every week through early March. Also, kids 6 and younger, 4th graders, 5th graders (report card required) and guests ages 40, 60 or 70 years and better ski FREE everyday. In addition, active military members ski FREE, just bring your active military I.D. to the ticket window and receive a FREE lift ticket.
