I have seen the numbers climbing in the elevation reports for Elephant Butte. So I thought I would go out and “confirm” them for myself this past weekend. Wow, the water is way up.. .like 35 feet. The lake level is the highest it has been since 2010! Get out and enjoy it.
I got in some good jetski time and wakeboarding this weekend. This is a shot from South Monticello point on the north end of the lake. There has been little to no water up this far for a couple of years!
