Despite what your mom might say about them, you love your ripped jeans. And when you find a pair that fits just right and is distressed in all the right places, you want to keep them looking good so you can wear them for a long time.
But the thing about distressed denim is that sometimes they keep ripping. And not in a good way. So how do we stop the holes from growing and ruining those trendy jeans? Turns out, it’s really simple.
All you need is a few iron-on denir m patches. Just stick them on the inside of your jeans, on either side of the rip. Since jeans rip side-to-side, attaching a patch to the left and right of your rip should keep them from tearing more in the laundry.
This hack won’t stop your mom from saying, “You paid good money for those jeans with holes in them?” but it should keep your distressed denim the perfect amount of ripped.
