Dierks Bentley is hosting the inaugural Seven Peaks Festival in Colorado over Labor Day weekend, and he’s just announced a fun addition to the fest.
On the first night of the fest, August 31st, there will be a salute to nineties country music, "Hot Country Night,” which will feature performances by Clint Black, Sawyer Brown, Terri Clark and David Lee Murphy. To promote the salute, Dierks dropped a video (watch below) in which he and his band perform Clint’s "Killin' Time," Terri’s "Better Things to Do," Sawyer Brown's "Some Girls Do" and Murphy's "Dust on the Bottle."
“I couldn't imagine getting to help plan my own festival and not having my favorite country music from the Nineties represented in a big way," Dierks says. "These guys are the constant soundtrack for me and the band backstage on the road, and I'm beyond excited they agreed to kick this thing off on Friday night with us."
Dierks’ Seven Peaks Festival takes place August 31st to September 2nd, featuring Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne, LANCO and more.
