About a month ago, Casey came running in the house and did her normal “figure 8’s” in the great room and on the second turn, let out a death curling scream. Off to the vet we went and after a few visits she ended up needing surgery for torn cartilage and a misplaced tendon. Now she has a “cast” which is really a splint. And lots if pain meds. She gets to keep this for the next 6 weeks and NO RUNNING AROUND!Today is the first day that she is off all 3 of the pain meds. And she is finally returning to normal and after a week is now eating again. Yay! As you can see in the pic below, she was not even eating her fave dog biscuits! I have been a sad, worried dog dad!
