We often hear complaints from those who don’t want to wear a mask that they feel like they can’t breath, but now a doctor is basically shooting down that excuse.
After Maitiu O Tuathail, a general practitioner in Ireland, had to deal with patients worrying about just that, due to false claims that facemasks lower blood oxygen levels and cause brain damage, he set out to prove the theory wrong.
He posted a video of himself wearing not one, but six surgical masks, while monitoring his oxygen levels and the masks had no effect on them.
