The maker of Clorox disinfectant wipes says the popular brand will be in short supply until the middle of next year.
Stores have been running out of Clorox wipes as the pandemic continues to surge across the U.S. Clorox Chief Operating Officer Eric Reynolds told NBC News last night that the wipes probably won't be well-stocked until mid-2021.
They have a good reason for that. Reynolds said they're producing more wipes than ever, but the demand has been "incredibly high." We’re talking a 500-percent increase in demand. Reynolds says, "People just figure, ‘why can't you just make more wipes?’” He notes it isn’t that simple.
One of the main reasons there is a short supply... the cloth that is included!
