These days, every new TV that Samsung produces has remote blocking technology. That means Samsung can disable all television functions with a push of a button.
This TV Block technology was developed so stolen TVs could be shut down and disabled. Score one for the good guys!
But, on the other hand, this seems scary because that’s a lot of power for one company to have. And, all hell could break loose if somebody hacks this system. Could you imagine your TV being held for ransom during a big sports weekend or an important season finale?
