Everyone knows about replacing the batteries in the smoke detectors when we change our clocks, but you should also use the clock change to take care of these other important maintenance chores.
Reverse your ceiling fans. Spin the blades clockwise in the winter and then reverse it in the spring.
Replace your air filters.
Clean your gutters.
And, make sure your emergency kit is fully stocked.
