With 4/20 here, Jimmy John’s is preparing for the inevitable increase in munchie-related eating. The sandwich chain is debuting a new sandwich in honor of the “holiday,” and it’s got the perfect name: The Munchie Crusher.
It’s made with turkey, provolone cheese, avocado spread, lettuce, tomato, sliced cucumbers and pickles, all between oregano-basil and mayo. To enhance the Munchie Crusher experience, Jimmy John’s suggests adding your favorite potato chips to the sandwich.
The Munchie Crusher will be available nationwide and Jimmy John’s app users can score a free side with the purchase of any sandwich during the week of 4/20 with the promo code “FREESIDE.” That code will also give fans access to a special 4/20 celebration at the Jimmy John’s location at 421 W. Broadway in Long Beach, California. The event includes exclusive Jimmy John’s rolling papers, a rolling demo from “Roller to the Stars” Ranagade (Snoop Dogg’s personal roller), a DJ, giveaways, and swag.
