Travis Kelce Is The Football Player Americans Most Want As Neighbor

If you could choose to live next door to anyone, who would you choose? That’s what a new survey from Zillow asks, but with a Super Bowl-twist. Their poll of 2-thousand U.S. adults reveals the football player, football broadcaster and halftime performer Americans would most like as a neighbor.

Travis Kelce tops the list as the pro player people would most want to live next door to with 12%, beating out his teammate Patrick Mahomes (11%) and the Baltimore Ravens’ Odell Beckham Jr. (7%). Kelce, also known as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, is the favorite of 18- to 34-year-old women, 26% of them pick him compared to 8% of guys in the same age range.

The Most Desired Neighbors of 2024 survey also finds:

  • The halftime performer Americans would love to be next door neighbors with is Snoop Dogg (12%), followed by Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga, who tie for second place (11% each).
  • Other halftime entertainers that make the list include Rihanna (7%), Eminem (6%), Beyonce (6%), Bruno Mars (6%), Justin Timberlake (6%), The Weeknd (3%) and Usher (3%), this year’s halftime headliner.
  • When it comes to football broadcasters, Terry Bradshaw is the one Americans prefer as a neighbor (17%). Michael Strahan comes in second (13%), then Tony Romo (9%), Troy Aikman (6%) and Jimmy Johnson (5%).
  • As for real-life neighbors, 60% of respondents say they could be friends with a neighbor who’s a fan of a rival football team, but only 46% would invite a neighbor who’s cheering for the other team to their Super Bowl party.
  • When watching the big game, 44% would throw a penalty for “unneighborly conduct” if their neighbor was running their noisy leaf blower or snow blower during the game.
  • If a neighbor showed up empty-handed to a Super Bowl watch party, 40% would throw a flag and 36% would do the same for double-dipping in the guac.
  • If there was an award for “most valuable neighbor,” 44% of Americans would give it to the neighbor that makes the best food for the big game, while 16% would award it to the biggest football fan and 13% say it would go to the neighbor with the biggest TV.
