Bernalillo County’s popular Movies in the Park series is continuing its drive-in edition through Aug.1.
All movies will be shown in the parking lot of the Isleta Amphitheater at 5601 University Blvd, south of Rio Bravo.
Movies on the marquee include:
- July 11 – Spiderman: Far From Home
- July 18 – Frozen 2
- July 25 – Lion King (2018)
- Aug. 1 – Cars
Movies in the Park is free of charge and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Gates will open at 7 p.m. Cars will be parked in every other space and moviegoers are allowed to sit outside but only directly in front of their cars, in their assigned space. No one will be allowed to sit in spaces between cars. Social distancing will be observed and enforced by security.
Outside food and drink is permitted, but alcohol is not. Food trucks will be onsite. Attendees are required to wear a mask when venturing away from their vehicle or family for food or restrooms. Dogs are permitted onsite, but must be on a leash, and patrons must scoop their pet’s poop.
