Carrie Underwood’s life has certainly gone through a transformation since welcoming son Isaiah two years ago. “Our whole life has changed,” Carrie tells “People.” “I remember when we first found out we were gonna have him it [was] like, ‘How are we gonna do this? Our lives are so crazy as it is.’”
Carrie says she and hubby Mike Fisher eventually learned how to “make room” for family time, noting it’s important “to be able to spend time and carve out some of that” for things like vacations. She adds, “that’s what it’s all about.”
And some of that family time includes working out together, as witnessed by a recent viral video of Isaiah exercising with mommy. Carrie notes that while Isaiah does have a “short attention span,” he is, in general a good “workout buddy.”
- Carrie also talked about her work with Operation Homefront, which helps out folks in the military and their families. She notes that “in some small way” she can empathize with our vets returning from overseas. She shares, “I’m even more appreciative for the service that they’ve provided our country because I know what it’s like to be a parent and miss your child just a little bit.”
