CMT MUSIC AWARD NOMINATIONS ARE HERE

The nominations for the CMT Music Awards are out with Kelsea Ballerini, Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban leading the pack of this year’s nominees with four nods a piece, followed by Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, Lauren Alaina and Luke Bryan, who each have three.

This year sees the return of the Social Superstar of the Year award, which was introduced last year. The trophy goes to acts that use social media to stay connected with fans in all sorts of ways.

The CMT Music Awards, hosted by “Nashville’s” Charles Esten, airs live from Nashville on June 7th at 8 p ET. Voting for this year’s winners is currently open, so fans can cast their votes until June 5th at 12:01 am.
