After taking a week off, Garth Brooks was back with another edition of “Inside Studio G” and he had something to celebrate. Yesterday’s episode marked the one-year anniversary of Garth launching the Facebook Live series, with 79 million people tuning in since it began.
He celebrated with a ”cake” made out of Dr. Pepper cans and M&M packets, blowing out a “1” candle which was placed on top. He also showed a highlight reel of the past year.
Garth also talked about his return home to Oklahoma City this past weekend for four shows, which broke a two-day attendance record, with over 60,000 people attending the concerts.
Among the other tidbits mentioned this week: Garth confirmed that they’ve been recording a live record for the whole tour; he also talked about working with Habitat For Humanity earlier this month in Edmonton; he shared his thoughts current artists that he admires, including Chris Young, Jason Aldean and Mitch Rossell, and he hinted that his World Tour will wind down in December.
