The season is off to a good start with early season snow and great snowmaking conditions too. And fresh snow Tuesday night in Southern Colorado. Those totals are listed as “new” snow below. Every few days, more terrain is opening too. Here are some highlights: Santa Fe has 12 runs on the lower mountain…. Taos has 10 runs on the front side… Sipapu and Red River re-open and start daily operations on Friday… Purgatory has top to bottom terrain on the front side and more terrain opening later this week… Wolf Creek is 90% open.

Notes: Now open with natural and manmade snow. All facilities are open including La Casa Lodge, La Casa Café, Ski Santa Fe Sports Shop, Ski & Snowboard Rental Shop, and Baz Coffee Bar. Totemoff’s Bar & Grill is also open. Lift tickets and passes can be purchased online. Grab a Peak Plus Pass or One Pass and ride all winter long at a discounted daily rate.

Notes: They are closed this week but re-open and start daily operations this Friday, Dec. 9. The Platinum Chair is open to the midway unloading at Broadway. Please be aware that Easy Way Down is not open from the Midway unload. The snowmaking team continues to work towards terrain expansion; they have started making snow at the summit, a rare occurrence this early in the season. Deal Days are on Dec 9-14 and College Days are Dec. 12-19 and then back Jan. 2-9.
