“Procrastibaking” Is The Tastiest Way To Distract Yourself

Finding yourself wanting to bake more than you ever have in your life while working from home? You could be “procrastibaking.” Even if you’ve never heard the term before, you probably already know what it is. It’s the art of getting nothing done, but in the most delicious way. It’s baking to avoid the things we need to do, like work, laundry, and returning emails.

Now that we’re home pretty much all the time, some people are spending more time in their kitchens to take a much-needed break from the news, deadlines, and their endless to-do lists. It doesn’t hurt that procrastibaking also creates tasty food for us to stress eat when we’re finished. So it’s really a win-win.

With everything going on these days, baking can be a stress-reliever. It keeps us from checking the latest coronavirus updates or scrolling through social media again. And that’s the kind of distraction we can really use right now.
