Small groups of balloons will launch from City parks at about 7:30 am this Saturday and Sunday and then again on October 7, 10, and 11. Some of the locations include: Balloon Fiesta Park, North Domingo Baca Park in the heights, and Mariposa Basin Park along with Ventana Ranch Park on the westside. But more locations may be announced.
The idea is to look at the balloons in the air rather than be at the launch locations. No spectators will be permitted at the launch locations. Balloons will be widely spaced, and balloon crews will be limited to five people.
