A customer and his wife went into a repair store to drop off his broken phone to be fixed but he hid a note and some money for the repairman his wife did not know about. Inside the cracked open phone he slipped in a 100-dollar bill and a note asking to deem the phone unfixable since his wife wanted to check the call history.
The fix-it man’s TikTok video has more than 2-million views and he turns to his followers for advice, asking “What do you guys think I should do?” People are divided over the dilemma, with some telling him to keep the cash and keep the man’s affair a secret, while others advise him to keep the hundred and tell her. One user urges him to “respect the bro code” and another points out that “It’s technically his phone, not hers. Do what he says.” And our favorite response? “Just give it back broken with the note and money in hand and tell him ‘I found the problem, but I can’t fix that.’”
