Nobody likes to live next to noisy neighbors, but while you can maybe forgive the occasional loud music or television, it seems one couple is causing some building drama with their loud bedroom habits.
A person believed to be in Australia recently shared an embarrassing letter on Reddit that was left for them by their neighbors informing them their sexcapades have become a problem in the building.
“To the new neighbors who moved in - located at the back of the units right above the laundry and closest to the car park/clothes lines. YOUR WALLS ARE PAPER THIN,” read the note. It goes on to complain about being woken up in the early morning “mortified” by the couple’s sex noises, noting, "You are showing very little respect for the people living all around you who have little kids who are traumatized by the noises!!” It adds, “And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CLOSE YOUR WINDOWS when you have sex because it is NOT SEXY AT ALL."
The note also warns the couple not to leave their bathroom door open because people on the path outside can see into the shower. They ended the note by begging, “we would appreciate that you keep any nudity and sexcapades private like normal respectful people do,” and it was signed by their “sleep-deprived neighbors.”
Some folks think the couple who received the note should retaliate by being even louder, but it doesn’t seem the OP is on board with the idea. “Like in all honestly, as funny as the encouragement to just be even louder is - I don't actually want to disturb my neighbors’ sleep and I don't particularly want them to hear me having sex,” they write. "So of course I'm going to try and keep it down and shut my goddamn windows,” adding, “Just don't be a d*** about in next time... But also thanks for the meme, Karen."
