Bernalillo County and Silver Horizons will again offer free groceries to low-income seniors (50+) at two drive-thru grocery pickup events.

- Wednesday, April 21, 2021, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Sherriff’s Posse Outdoor Facility, 10308 Second St NW (map)
“Glad to report that lines were a little shorter at our last grocery pickup with Bernalillo County,” says John Paterson, director of development and service delivery, Silver Horizons. “No one should go hungry. So if you need an assist, please come and pick up some free groceries.”
Organizers will be following CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Food will be pre-packed and volunteers will be wearing masks, maintaining social distance and washing their hands. Seniors may begin arriving at 10 a.m. Everyone must wear a mask and seniors must remain in their vehicles.
