Congratulations are in order for “The Simpsons.” The longest-running animated comedy topped Rolling Stone’s list of the best 100 TV sitcoms of all time.
The magazine considered over 80 years of shows, and settled on the following criteria – a consistent group of characters and settings, how much we laughed, how much they influenced the shows that followed, how well they reflected the world around them, and how deeply they gave us the feels.
