While there are some strange people out there who actually love to clean there house, there are plenty of people who would rather do anything then spend time cleaning. But those folks don’t want to look like a slob, so many have come up with shortcuts to get around that.

A new survey finds:

  • Young folks are more likely to use such shortcuts, with 86% of Millennials saying they use them, while only 69% of boomers do.
  • Plus, Gen Z are more likely to say they use six to 6 to 10 of these shortcuts when cleaning.
  • So, what are some of these cleaning shortcuts?
  • Well the most popular is to mist a room with air freshener (40%) to make it smell better. Others include:
    • Lighting a scented candle (37%)
    • Making the bed, but not cleaning the rest of the room (29%)
