You’re not alone. A new survey found that 80% of respondents said they have at least one “cleaning black hole” in their home -- an area or room that’s always unorganized and in need of cleaning. The most common messy areas include a closet, the garage, and spare rooms or basements.
At my house it’s the spare bedroom, and the garage… and the closet in my home office. And… ummm… what if you have all 3???
So why a back hole… a third of people say they feel too overwhelmed or distracted to tackle them. In fact, three out of four people (75%) have organized a junk drawer or other messy part of their home only to realize that all they did was move the mess somewhere else!
