It was so great to finally take a true vacation where is could unplug and just have a good time. I have been to Maui several times, but this was the first time that I really relaxed and we did a bunch of fun things: The Maui Aquarium (which is one of my faves), ziplining, snorkeling, road to Hana, pineapple farm tour, and lots of shopping! We had to move things around in suite cases to get all the t-shirts and other items home (and under the limit of 50 pounds!
I had never gone on a pineapple farm tour before, so I learned a few things… it takes 18 months to grow a pineapple and we can grow them here… you just need to bring it in during the winter. So I am going to try it with a few of my Maui Gold pineapples that I came home with.
