Here are some highlights from my long weekend trip
- Big Lake is just over the Arizona border about 50 miles west of Quemado. It’s at 9K feet in the Arizona White Mountains
- Went with my Aunt and Uncle and my cousins and their small kids. First camping trip for the kids
- We had the best food… I am 6 pounds heavier
There were 3 bummers:
- The wind was crazy up there gusting to 35 every day. We only got kayak one morning and the wind was crazy. It took forever to get back to shore and we didn’t even get a nibble on the fishing poles.
- We didnt really catch any fish. Two small 6 inch Rainbow Trout and one crawdad, but that's it!
- I think my RV fridge was had a hex on it. It kept opening on the trip there and home. On the way home yesterday, we kept stopping and every time I checked on it, it had opened and there were things all over the floor including broken eggs everywhere.
